Where Weakness Meets Power

Have you ever known what you needed to do but felt like you didn’t have what it took to do it? You want to make the right decision, overcome temptation, repair a relationship, or make a difference—but your strength only goes so far.

In the first message of the By My Spirit series, Pastor David explains why God never intended us to live the Christian life or fulfill His mission in our own strength. Through Zechariah 4:6, Luke 24:49, and Acts 4:23–31, we discover how the Holy Spirit gives ordinary people the wisdom, courage, and power they need.

Prayer is where our weakness meets God’s power. When we stop trying to handle everything ourselves and begin depending on the Holy Spirit, God can accomplish in us—and through us—what we could never accomplish alone.

What if God wants to do more than forgive your past? What if He also wants to transform your heart so you can live differently in the future?

In the second message of God, Start with Me, Pastor David explores David’s prayer in Psalm 51: “Create in me a clean heart, O God.”

Discover a simple pathway to freedom—pursue God, confess honestly, and repent by turning toward Him. “God, cleanse me” is not a prayer of guilt or condemnation. It is a courageous prayer of faith that invites God to heal what is broken, renew what has faded, and restore the joy of knowing Him.

Most of us pray for God to change what is happening around us—but are we willing to invite Him to change what is happening within us?

In Part 1 of God, Start with Me, Pastor David explores the courageous prayer David prayed in Psalm 139:23–24: “Search me, O God.” This prayer invites God to examine our hearts, reveal our anxious thoughts, expose anything keeping us from Him, and lead us toward life.

It may not be a safe or comfortable prayer, but it can change the direction of your life.

We all have decisions we wish we could go back and change. In the moment, the right choice may have seemed unclear—but looking back, it feels obvious.

What if one simple question could help you make wiser decisions and avoid unnecessary regret?

In this practical message from Ephesians 5:15–17, Pastor David shares a biblical filter you can use when facing opportunities, relationships, purchases, temptations, and everyday decisions
